Testicular cancer

This recommendation has been archived and is no longer regularly reviewed by the UK NSC.

The testicles are part of the male reproductive system. Testicular cancer accounts for approximately 0.7% of all cancers. It's the most common cancer in men between the age of 20 and 35.

In September 2013, the UK NSC archived this condition because it is more commonly detected through self-examination. As such, it is not appropriate for consideration as a screening programme.
